Old Drawing XD

Hello!
When was the last time I posted on this blog? I don't even know. Ugh...I'm so bad at this. Still, let's not dwell on that. I was looking through some old photos and look what I found:

The art skills of a 6 year old though (insert laughing face emoji). I feel like it's so nice to just find some time to go through old things sometimes- you get to appreciate and remember some old memories.  I remember drawing this when trying to teach my mum to use a computer, I'm sure I impressed her with my drawing of an (unintentional) over sized bunny and extremely flat grass. It's only a short post today and my laptop kind of died and is getting fixed so fingers crossed I'll get it back soon!

Bye!

Excuses, Excuses, Excuses

Hello!
I am really really really sorry for not posting anything in SO LONG. I've just been so busy doing random things and I have got a few posts written up but I just need to take photos for them...which I haven't done. I know that these are both pretty bad excuses so hopefully I'll be able to convince myself to actually update this blog. Thanks for reading,

Bye!

Re-organising My Life

Hello! Lately I really feel like I really haven't been on top of things and I end up doing lots of last minute homework and getting really stressed- probably because I was watching YouTube when I could have been doing homework. So I've decided to try and organize my life more.

I've started writing in my planner again and I kind of tidied my room and threw away stuff I didn't need- it feels really good to de-clutter. I'm also in the process of writing this timetable schedule thing of an average week and what I would do at what time. Yup, I need it that badly. Sorry about my posts being so short lately, like I said I haven't been very organised and I feel really 'busy' but I do have some better ones (hopefully) coming up. Anyways, I do suggest taking some time every now and then to clean away everything you don't need and take some time to re-organise things or think about your priorities. Good luck!

Random Updates!

Hi!
So it's almost time for bed but right now I might quickly update you guys on a few things:

- The holidays are almost over :( School's starting in 2 more days and while yeah, there are some aspects I'm not looking forward to like setting my alarm clock and doing homework I am actually kind of excited to be seeing everyone again and I feel ready to do some more learning. I also kind of miss that like excitement and energy I get when I go to school. Am I the only one?

- I now have 3 blogs?!?! Yup, and it's quite a lot of work keeping them all updated but I do enjoy blogging so it's all goods (recently I have been saying that a lot, why I don't know). One is of course this one, another one I made with some friends for school and the last one is a personal one also for school. Phew!

- I changed the design on this blog! To be honest I'll probably keep and keep changing it but right now I'm really happy with the way it looks. I will definitely be adding more like hopefully social media icons and more things in the menu bar but I'm happy with the template and header. Seeing as I'm not very techy it will probably take me ages and like 10 tutorials before I figure out how to do it, but it's a good opportunity to learn, right? I worked ages on it and I really love the way it looks, especially as I don't think I'm quite ready for paying for a template. I might make a tutorial when  have time :)

Anyway, that's all the updates I have for now. I better get ready for bed soon because I'm attending my friend's birthday party tomorrow. (Happy early birthday Izzy!) ,

Goodbye!

Checking My New Year's Resolutions

 Hello world!

When 2015 started I of course made a huge list of resolutions. I told myself I'd actually follow up with them and I thought what would be a better time than now to check up and reflect on how I've done? So here we go:

Spread happiness: This one is almost always on my list of resolutions. I try, I do, but to be honest I don't think I've done much this year to go out of my way to make someone happier. I'll make a mental note about that.

Step out of my comfort zone: Hmmm, I actually don't think I've done too bad at this, and I intend to keep trying. I've participated in a lot of things at school and tried my best to get involved-even if I wasn't sure about it. I've also done some things that kind of scare me so yeah, I'm pretty happy with how I'm doing.

Be more responsible: Well, this year I've taken on quite a few responsibilities like looking after Noodle and being a councillor at school which definitely forces me to be more responsible. However, I do think it's kind of 'forced' and I'd like to be more responsible on my own, if that makes sense.

Be more polite: I think I do use my please and thanks yous whenever I feel it's necessary-which is quite often. However I think I'd like to work on saying good morning, hello, etc  and just generally greeting people more often.

Become healthier: Isn't this resolution like on everybody's list? Last year I worked on doing more fitness and exercising in general which I'm pretty happy with the amount I'm doing right now and so this year I'm focusing on eating healthier...which isn't happening. I do try, but junk food is just so tempting.

Find ways to help plane Earth: Like 2 years ago I was a little obsessed with helping this planet. My friends and I would even do beach clean ups and everything. However this year...um yeah...I kind of forgot I had this resolution. Another mental note :P

Anyways so that rounds it up. I want you to take time to think about your resolutions (and if you didn't have any then set some now!) and see how you're doing with them. Comment on any of yours down below as I'd love to read them. Bye!

Noodle The Part Poodle Puppy

So kind of recently my family and I got a puppy! I've wanted one for as long as I can remember but my parents (well mostly my mum) always said no :/ But one day my mum finally gave in to my relentless begging and we made a deal. If I could do all my chores well, keep the house tidy and generally be a good child for a year then my parents would consider getting me a dog. And so right now I have a puppy sitting next to me!

Her name is Noodle (she's part poodle and it sounded cute so...) and she's a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel crossed with a Poodle so she's a...cavoodle! Noodle is definitely really playful and not the most well behaved puppy...she knows all the basics but only chooses to listen if she wants :P She also gets extremely hyper when she meets new people.

However, I still love her and now I almost can't imagine living life without Noodle. Yeah, she's a lot of work and sometimes eats rubbish but I wouldn't trade her for anything in the world :) I just posted this quick, short random post because I thought how could a post about a cutesy puppy not brighten your day?!?! Make sure you leave any comments about any of your pets below! Byee

Current Top 10 Favourite Books (Or Series)

Hellooo and welcome! (I should find a different way to start my posts)
If there's one thing you should know about me, it's that I LOVE to read. I used to read a lot, like maybe 3 or 4 books each day, though they were only like 80 pages long and talked about fairies. Last year I started reading YA and I still love reading, but I read maybe only 2 or 3 books each week; sometimes I just find it hard to find the time to read. So, without further rambling, lets get to my Top 10 Favourite Books:

Number 10: Before I Fall by Lauren Oliver. This was one of the first Young Adult books that I read that pulled me over to the YA side of books. I thought it was a really interesting idea and really made me think.

Number 9: The Boy in the Striped Pajamas by John Boyne. I liked it. A lot. It was interesting and the characters were relatable, considering it was set in World War II. Overall it was just quite different to other books that I have read.

Number 8: Harry Potter Series by J.K Rowling. I mean, its Harry Potter. Harry Potter was a huge chunk of my childhood. (not that I'm not a child still) I loved the books, the movies and to this day I may still try to watch every movie that Emma Watson is in...

Number 7: To All The Boys I've Loved Before by Jenny Han. It was so cute and so sweet. Awwww. I don't know why, but a lot of the time I don't ship the characters that are falling in love in the book. I just don't. In fact, I almost want the opposite to happen... But not with this book. The characters were so relatable and real and the plot was good too, so yeah, I really liked it.

Number 6: Mao's Last Dancer by Licunxin. I saw this book in a reading list for my cousin for school so I decided to give it a try since all the other books didn't sound half as interesting. It was a really good autobiography and I could feel everything he felt, almost like I had gone through this as well. The movie is also really good so if you ever get the chance you should watch it.

Number 5: The Selection Series by Kiera Cass. The protagonist was so annoying. And indecisive. But somehow I still loved the whole series .(Apparently more books are coming out though) It was like the perfect blend between actioney and dystopian but still girly and fun. Also aren't the covers just gorgeous?!

Number 4: The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. This book has been everywhere, especially after the movies started coming out so if you haven't heard of it before then where have you been your whole life?! Katniss is so kick ass and the love triangle was pretty good and the plot was even better so I really liked it. (By the way I'm Team Peeta!)

Number 3: The Infernal Devices Series by Cassandra Clare. These were the first Cassandra Clare books I read and to be honest, at first I was kind of unsure about the world and the characters and how complex it seemed to me. However by the end of it I really needed more...because I loved the characters so much.

Number 2: We Were Liars by E.Lockhart. Everyone says you're better of going into this book without knowing much and it's true. GO READ IT.

Number1: The Legend Series by Marie Lu. I LOVED IT. It was fast, action packed and easy to read. I think I finished Legend in one sitting and Prodigy and Champion really quickly too. I liked the dual POVs and June and Day were both FABULOUS. I really liked the plot and I would recommend this book to a lot of people, especially people who want to get into reading again :)

So that pretty much wraps it up! I hope you enjoyed reading this and be sure to check out some of the books I mentioned. Please leave a comment down below on your favourite books!
